calling Canon 1D Mk II owners!

I'm surprised you're not getting the results from this camera as it is a cracking body and focussing system. I used one for 2 years doing motor sport and a superb hit rate with it....gotta be something simple! Is it worth posting up an image that you're not happy with? Rob

    Wanted, a crocodile sandwich

Good stuff this! We had a similar idea a few years ago when we set up the Snappygear branding. We got a local design house to come up with the goods as our scribbles around the idea was awful!!

    Royal Mail price increases

Good PDF that! Saved and printed for reference. For smaller, more expensive items (over £200) Royal Mail are still pretty hard to beat! We recently received a letter to say the local sorting office were re-tweaking the business in line with increased parcels in the system. Rob

    Which Std lens 18-50, 17-85 or 18-135

I'd go for the 17-85 IS too, if your budget is sub £200. However, they do tend to wear the inner flex quite regularly. Rob

    What would YOU do?

If you sold the 500d, with your £850 on top, you'd get a spanking good condition 5D mk2, beautiful camera! Do it! You know you want to!

Has anyone ever converted their garage (or in the cellar) into a photography studio?

I remember seeing someone on here did one a year or 2 back. Might be worth a search as I remember there was quite a few images from the thread.
