Funny seeing this topic as I'm currently travelling and am thinking about buying a Fujifilm X-A1.
My reasons are size. Travelling around different counties on trains, planes and buses, I find my Canon 700d SLR just to bulky.
I also see that jessops are doing a deal for £369 inc a kit lens...
I am currently debating if to buy this Sigma 17-70mm or the Sigma 18-250. They both have macro abilities but not sure which one. I am travelling at the moment and the girlfriends parents are coming to meet us in bangkok so I need to buy one so they can bring it with them haha.

I suppose the kind of shooting i will be doing is general street photography. Street markets, buildings, people etc.
I just thought with the slightly wider lens the 30mm gives, it would be more benefical then say a 50mm!

I recently posted on the forum regarding my photography equipement and what to take away with me.
Im caught between lenses and would love some reccomendations:
Sigma 30mm lens or Sigma 50mm lens.
I already have a Sigma 10 - 20mm Wide angle on my Canon 700d.
Thoughts? Other...
I have just put a post up regarding travelling the world and thought about buying the Sigma 1.4 as a good street / walk around lens.
I do like the look of it and tend to like the build of a Sigma Lens.....
Yea, not a bad idea......Will bear this in mind seeing as i will have to buy the 30mm still.
Choices.....i just dont want to go and wish i had bought one before i left.
I think the kit i have chosen will suit what im planning to do well :)

I dont plan to edit any of the photos via the iPad......more to just view them or delete them before i send them back to the PC via iCould.
Once im home, i can edit on the PC properly.

I am taking an iPad mini with me to upload the shots dailey or every other day and then ping them through iCloud back to the PC at home so i will get the oppotunity to review pictures.

Looking through your thread you took a hell of alot of photos with the 10-20mm.
I personally love wide angle photos. Its just something about that kind of photography that gets me.
I considered buying a Sigma 30mm f1.4 instead of taking my 50mm 1.8...
