Hi Kaouthia, Yes my SB600 is in manual mode and teh 460's are set to S1. They fire fine when the SB600 is outside the softbox but not when inside. Feels like my 460's are just overly sensitive. James

Strange. I originally had the YN460-II inside the hi-light with the red sensors facing forward (towards its front) in S1 mode. The SB-600 wouldnt fire them when inside the softbox but the room was very bright (natural light). I then placed the 460's horizontal so the sensors was on the out side...

This was my first attempt. I used two YN460-IIs inside the hilight and then just natural light. Never had chance to take any more pictures other than this test whilst he was eating his breakfast as he is coming down with something so wasn't in the mood..

Nice picture. yeah the left side looks great but your just getting a bit of spill on thr right.. Shower curtain, asda, £1.50, bin - snap :) You can see why I said it was full of creases... James

I found it very hard to trigger a pair of yn460 in slave mode from an sb600 (in a softbox though). Just about to order a radio reciever for one of the yn460's. One triggered from an rf unit should fire the other in optical slave mode...

From what I heard it depend how long ago it was..... i think they moved there photo "printing service to the uk from germany" which has improved things a lot as they now have more current kit...

Me thinks awp was asking kardo for few pics *but could be wrong!!!! I have a sb600 and would be intesting too.....

Oh and as for packing/folding it back up..... I give up.. the wife will just have to get use to our large big white piece of funiture......

I received my hilite thursday. Tried both a shower curtain and a white kingsize flatsheet as train and both where too "creasey". Not wanting to spend much more, the wife would kill me, but need to find something that will do the job. Also bought two of FITP's cheap flashes to light my...

What size and what space do you have???? I have measured it and I think it will be ok but you probably never know until you actually using it! I still have to persaude the wife... or it be on its way!

ah Not enough details :) I was planning to run the two YN-460-II as slaves and connect the sb600 to my d90 via FITP's RF-602's. That way the SB600 should triger the YN-460's.. Sound ok? James

What would be the cheapest way of lighting one of these? I current have just one SB600 which I was hoping to use as a subject flash (via one of fitp's softboxes) so I should will only need to light the background?

What sort of material are these made out of? Are all sides white internally or do they have reflective surface on the inside back? James
