    Lens cleaning - costs

hey guys. Hope everyone's well. Could anyone give me an idea of costs involved for getting a lens cleaned professionally? (I'm sure it can be done at home with correct tools etc but wondering M about a shop doing it). Looks like oil mist. It's on a TLR If that helps. Thanks Bruce

    Massive Dev Chart

I'm starting to question the massive Dev chart app if I'm honest. Last few rolls I've used the manufactures timings instead. There some pretty big diferances. Interested to hear what others are experiencing. I've got so little experience I can't judge the outcome yet :( Should ad, I'm only...

    A few pics from my first rolls of Ektar 100 & Superia 400 [Pentax K1000 - K35/F3.5]

And yet the OP hasn't come back to the thread, yet has been online. What's that tell you? Feedback isn't being discouraged. There's plenty of feedback here that hopefully helps. there are however a few put downs that are not helpful and don't get anyone anywhere.

"but I have to ask, what made you take these images? For me they simply don't do anything" - I'd call that criticism. I'd read the very first line "Just started getting into photography" Always nice to try and encourage a newcomer.

Good for you! Starting out on film is a hard thing to do. It's a big learning curve to start photography in the first place. Not seeing everything instantly can be a good thing but if your starting out, I'd say it makes the curve even steeper. Have a look in the film section. Really nice bunch...

Thanks Richard! Much appreciated. No, thats a very good friend who I've managed to get back into his own photography :) Amusingly thats not posed, he was genuinely contemplating a conversation we were having about the Zone system. Blind leading the blind but it started to make sense. Thanks...

Thanks @FujiLove , much appreciated. I just read that wetting agent may not help! To be honest, I've only ever rinsed in water, so not the nest job. Will dig her hairdryer out :)

Thanks Andy! Finally feel like I'm getting somewhere since dumping digital. I was honestly getting to the point of giving up and getting another XT1 lol. Then the dev went wrong with kinks in the negs... fortunately the scanner revealed some good qualities and made me check over the old Zenith...
