The reflection in the first is great but I think it's the autumn colours in the second that really spoke to me given the time of year.

Sorry, to be clear, I really liked the first (still do) and thought to myself it would be hard to beat that, but then I saw the second which was even more lovely :)

A great set, and the first one is fantastic. The lightning capture in the second is great but there are a couple of dust spots near it that I can't unsee, damn dust ;)

The last two are great. It might just be my eyes but it looks like the point of focus may not have been where I expected it to be on some of the insect shots leaving some of them slightly soft but with great composition.

A nice set, really like the second one, might want a slight crop in from the left. looks even better viewed on flickr. I like the composition in 3, lots of lines and curves from the dock wall, the bollards with flags, the streetlights and dockside lights. Nice.

Look good to my eyes, sharpness looks fine at point of focus especially in images 3 and 5 (zip on bathing suit). In your focus tests focusing through the live view seems spot on.

I really like it, usually I'd agree with a tighter crop but this just clicked with me. By all means experiment but I think you nailed it as is.

#1 and #8 are my favourites, especially the first, very strong images.

First and third are just great, I'm normally a sucker for black & white and if you'd posted the second on it's own I would have really liked it but the colour versions really jump out here.

I like #1 and #3 best though I wonder what the third would look like from a slightly lower position though it looks like the sky might have been solid fray from the top of the frame upwards which is probably why you framed it like that.

Second one is my favourite. Great work.
