Worked for me also.
I had an a7iii from them that had a focus issue, they delivered promptly etc and took return of the item. The refunded in full as they said they didnt have stock (this had the kit lens).
So just placed the body only order so lets see how this goes.
Mine was back in 2007/8, I got a Nikon D40 from Jessops, then went D80, D90, D4, D810
They were the first SLR's, others were just compact.
Still have the D40, the baby I used to photograph in 2008 now uses it with a 35mm prime!
I had the pleasure of an A7iii for a few weeks, it went back as it was faulty and now looking to replace.
Incredible camera, both the SamYang 85mm and 35mm were superb, that said they don't lend themselves to travelling as they are huge.
The catchlight police make me laugh, your image is what it is - personally I leave them in and often try to put a second catch into an image with a bright object.
I had and still have a D40 - sentimentality makes me keep hold of it and also my 8 year old daughter is learning to use it.
I have used it as out main camera when on holiday and pretty much only use it with a Nikon 35mm f/1.8 lens.
I recommend that combo personally.
Just re-read and you...

Thanks folks will let you know how i get on :)
Will likely just take a load of gear and not use it but better that way than the other and not taking enough.

Well I need to ressurect this thread as im off to Lapland at christmas with the kids. I understand there is about 4 hours of daylight and that its going to be pretty cold.
I have a D4 and an Xpro1, I had initially thought I should just take the Xpro setup and make do, i bought a small hotshoe...
I bought the existing one with the buy once mentality, i had a d90 topple which was a near miss as i kicked it to safety and only broke the pop up which Nikon kindly fixed as warranty - lesson learned.
I just wanted something lighter, im going to lapland with my kids I didnt want to look like...
Afternoon Folks
I currently have a Manfrotto 055XPROB tripod which I use for my occasional tripod use.
I have just booked a lapland trip and a northern lights adventure and dont fancy carting the somewhat hefty legs around.
Do any of the travel/landscape photography community on here have...
Thanks byker, it should have been much tighter and the lace should have straight (my OCD!). I found the ones where I asked for the lace to be straight there was more a look of concentration and less of a look of engagement so ran with this one.
Will play around with crops over the weekend, I...
Thinking on that was probably one of the only things I didnt get - I hope to work with her again soon though and might try a full on beauty shot of the eye make up/eyes.
