Err what's the point of the image. Box is reasonably sharp but the product itself is off due to to small an aperture. If the point was creative( colour is better) but as a product shot them I don't get it.
Having owned (and still do) a 40D. It's not the answer you are looking for but the focusing on the 70D is far superior which is why I upgraded and still use my 70-200 f4 and get much better results even when cropped.
Just food for thought
Dave
If I didnt PP my images then they would still look flat just as they did when shooting film. I edit errr sorry post process my images so that they look more like slide or more specifically like Cibachrome when printed.
Dave.
Yup I use Lightroom and Photoshop.
I went from the 40d to the 70d at Christmas. I passed the 40 to my teenage daughter. I have mentioned that I'd like to swap. I've really tried to fall in love with the 70 but there's something missing from the processed images. I can't put my finger on it.
Dave.
Have a look feedback always welocome

I use a PC i7 16gb ssd and 4gb graphics windows 7 pro. When it dies I may get a Mac mini just for something different :). The Mac mini is 3rd gen and not current 4th generation processors. Rumors are there is new one on the way. Maybe later this year. ( Intel are set to release 5th gen in q4)...
