SSD upgrade how I did it

If you're going to all that effort then I'd personally do a fresh install of Windows 10. You have to upgrade to 10 first, then do a clean install but the results are a lot better. I recently installed W10 on 3 PCs - two were upgrades, one was a fresh install. The fresh install was perfect, both...

Amazing What You Find On The Beach

I prefer the first one apart from where the waves appear to crash down onto some completely static froth - spoils it for me

Do i really need my dSLR to take great photo's?

Have a look on flickr and do a search for a couple of compact cameras and see what people achieve. I have a Canon S110 and if I search for that, then go to groups it shows me all the pictures taken with that model and there are some brilliant ones...

Anyone used a variable ND filter?

Cheers, think I'm just going to buy one and have a play. I guess with it being variable it's going to be a bit hit and miss getting the exposure spot on though.

Anyone used a variable ND filter?

Thanks for that. I thought a 10 stop may be too much and everyone would disappear - I thought variable would give me more control?

Anyone used a variable ND filter?

Hi guys, I would like to take pictures of some buildings in a busy City Centre during the day. I want the people to show very blurry walking past - like it's really busy. I have two questions - would an ND filter do the job and allow me to get that style? Would this variable ND filter...

    New Logo Idea

The second one to me changes the balance of the picture whereas the first one doesn't. I'm not keen.

    Search Engine Optimisation - Weebly

As Susie says, plus keyword tags don't carry any positive effect, they're outdated. Position in the search engines is based on Titles, Headings, Content and Inbound Links. The only effect keyword tags can have is negative, if you spam them, also you can use them to trick your naive competitors...

1st attempt long exposure at night

I think it could have the makings of a decent shot, interesting sky, good composition. It's hard to say anything other than that at this point though.

1st attempt long exposure at night

exif shows f20 30 secs iso100 Shot in Av By shooting in Aperture priority but right at the limits (needing 30 secs) it's underexposed. Try at f14 and it should come out better or alternatively shoot in Tv

1st attempt long exposure at night

Looks underexposed to me. The church looks like its sides are illuminated so I would expect them, on a correctly exposed shot, to really stand out against the outline of the trees.
