    What too buy next?

I've read good reports on the Sigma 90mm f2.8 too, another to consider ;)

    What too buy next?

It all depends on what you want to photograph really... same goes for the tele lens. That 55-300 I found was great for slow moving objects/animals, but not ideal for birds in flight etc (but that may well be down to my skills too haha). Personally for the macro lens, I'm saving for the Nikon...

    What too buy next?

I was in the same boat as yourself (with not so much money), I plumped for the 55-300 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nikon-AF-S-NIKKOR-55-300mm-4-5-5-6G/dp/B003ZSHNCC) I guess compared to some lenses it's relatively slow, but for the money it's superb imo. Then maybe add a decent macro lens too !

    Waterproof camera recommendations

I wouldn't buy a Fuji again, I had an XP30 a couple of years ago and wasn't impressed with either the picture quality (although that's probably down to the user... me ;) ) And it also leaked slightly into the battery compartment. This happened each time I used it, luckily there was no damage...

Egypt Reef Pics on a budget

Cheers... It's harder than you think when you're a new diver, having to concentrate on not bumping into corals etc ;) It's just point, click, and hope lol. John, I'm sure yours will be much better ! I'll get some coral macro shots up soon. (3 or so years ago, I think the camera cost me...

Egypt Reef Pics on a budget

Hi John, Except the last two they're all 18-30m deep (hence the loss of colour). The final two were taken with a disposeable camera snorkelling. HTH, you'll neve be out of the water ;) (a couple of them may have been at around 10m, like the clowns)

Egypt Reef Pics on a budget

The Fuji's aren't too bad really... It was just the flash on mine which let it down. If I could still dive (I can't due to sinus problems), I would definitely have upgraded, it's so addictive :) It even started me off with marine aquariums ;) I'll get some pics of that up another time.

Egypt Reef Pics on a budget

Cheers... Scary first time you see one coming towards you though aren't they lol. Unfortunately most of my photo's were useless due to either sand being kicked up infront of the camera, or other divers' bubbles :( I think I've got about 5 viable photo's out of 50 from The Thistlegorm dive :(
