I have a Compact Advance which works quite well, but I came to use it for astrophotography with a tracker and soon realised it's limitations. It comes with a removable column with the 3-way camera fitting on one end. I was hping there would be a replacement column available that would fit this...

After another long hiatus from any sort of photography (except the iphone sort), I dug out an old Kodak 6x9 folder from a box this morning during a clear out... I remember buying it at a charity shop for 20 quid about a year ago and seeing that it only took 620 film, wrote it off as a project...

Thanks for the info joxby - I was searching for a US manufacturer or plant that makes Ilford film, but came up naught. It's staggering how much cheaper it is across the pond. Wondering what import duties will be on film, though that just seems bizarre - they import from us and we import from...

Well, if it's manufactured in the States, then it would be cheaper there - larger buying force likely, therefore lower prices unless I've missed something? I know the same is true for other things made in the states such as high-end audio/studio equipment.

Hi all, I recall being involved in trying to get some sort of bulk ordering off the ground, but looking back through emails from Harman and Fujifilm, it appeared that they either would not supply 'small' quantities (100 rolls of 120) or that they'd only supply to a VAT registered business that...

I keep forgetting what a quality camera the G2 is. Apart from the problems I had using it for street photography (focusing functionality didn't gel with me) I will always regret selling mine... the glass on this camera makes shots rival a MF camera in terms of detail, not to mention tonality...

Some more - these are all medium format. I can confirm I could pull more detail out of these files compared to scanning on my flatbed, but i wonder if that's more to do with scanning at 4000dpi/48bit compared to 2400dpi/16bit on the flatbed? Scan-110604-0003 by ~~Mike~~, on Flickr...

TBY - love the first one in B&W - perfect subject film... but then I have a weird thing about smooth surfaces and B&W film - they just glue together in the most beautiful way.
