Thanks Michelle - Bitterns are doing better these days though still a nationally scarce bird - must be some in Lincs somewhere! :thinking: I'm not sure what effect the mites have on bees but they must be a nuisance - some may be more of a problem back in the bee's nest. Geoff

Actually, I was at Blashford today - all morning - and got nothing..... but plenty of birds around, mostly too far away... Geoff

Thanks Andy - yes, threre's always the chance of a lucky break at Blashford but there's really no substitute for putting the time in!..... some days nothing, other days it all happens (I like those days best! :lol:). cheers Geoff

Congrats Andy :clap: There's no substitute for putting in the time to get Kingfisher shots from the Blashford Hides - it was around this time of year last year that Ivy South Hide had more frequent occurrences of Kingfisher, especially perching, and looks like same is happening this year -...
