A mirrored landscape with added asymmetry
This is a shot of Hay Bluff in the Brecons, copied and flipped.
I added the bird and a gradient to alter the lighting.

Just a few ideas,
Gwythian beach is just the other side of Hayle with Godrevy Lighthouse at the far end. To the East there are some great mining landscapes.
The link is to a google map, the couple on the Lizard are about 50 minutes away, the others no more than half an hour...

Something a bit left field
How about a still life with Red Cabbage, beetroot
Watersplash with purple dye or lighting.
or even just tint a minimalist landscape
Well, that was an interesting half an hour.
The construction of the supports resemble Southend Pier along with the building half way along.
I found this on the Southend Council website

I think this version might cover a couple of the points, although the pendulum doesn't have as much impact.
