I reserved one of these yesterday afternoon, and was travelling the 90 miles this morning to pick it up when I received a call from the jessops store in question telling me there was a mistake and that they didnt have it in stock after all, I presume one of the staff has taken it at that price...

well , after chasing it up I've now had a phone call saying that product is discontinued but the replacement is available for £319, thats £20 dearer than on their website. so the order is cancelled.

on the cheaper one it mentions that the Nikon mount includes HSM, and as its going on my D40 it needs it... well i've ordered it at that price so I shall see what arrives, it can always go back if it doesnt match the description. but if anyone does know the difference, can they let me know as...

hi just wanted some advice before i click the purchase button on one of these, Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 DC EX Macro (Nikon) standard , for £249 I think its a good price but just wondered if anyone had seen anything better.. cheers

Hi all I have just purchased a 50mm 1.8d, I knew it was manual focus only on my camera, when I look through the view finder and focus, things appear in focus but when looking at them on my pc , i can tell that they are out, quite a lot sometimes.. I need to wear glasses for long distance...
