    Sensor cleaning, Derby area

Hi all, I've got some dust stuck on my sensor and can't shake it off. Where in the Derby area can I take my camera to, to have it professionally cleaned? Cheers, Jonathan

    Anyone using a Tamron 16-300mm

Should be getting mine next week from the US. DigitalRev wouldn't do it for the price I wanted, until the day after I placed by US order, then they dropped the price quite a bit! Still a lot cheaper from the US though. I'll let you know how I get on.

Beginner Tuition near Derby, Notts or Leics

Hi all, I've been a KEEN photographer for a few years and taken some nice photos, to a standard that I have them displayed in my house. However, they basically fall into the below categories. 1) outdoor landscape in good light 2) Long exposure night with moving lights 3) holiday snaps 4) again...

Sigma 18-250mm Macro or 18-200 Macro?

Sigma 18-200 Macro is the new 'C' lens which has just been released? The 18-250 Macro seems to be the same spec, but doesn't have the 'C', is cheaper than the 200, but obviously benefits from the extra 50mm.

Sigma 18-250mm Macro or 18-200 Macro?

I'm looking at buying a general purpose lens for holidays for my 650D and have narrowed my choice down to the following... Sigma 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 DC Macro OS HSM Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC Macro OS HSM From the name and specs they appear very similar, apart from the obvious, but can anyone...

    30mm ish Lens?

Thanks for the replies and comments. It's given me more of an idea what I'm looking for. I'm also thinking of popping along to Bright Lights at the end of the month to see what others are using.

    General Purpose Travel Lens Advice

The Sigma 18-250 looks a good general lens to me. Just looking at the same options, but for a Canon. It has good reviews and comes in around £250 from Digi or similar.

    15-70mm ish options

I'd recommend the 15-85 too. I love using mine and I've heard its built to the same quality as an L lens but can't be classed as one as it's only designed for the crop cameras. The IS helps in low light situations. I think there's one in the for sale section for around 320 which, depending on...

    30mm ish Lens?

Hi all, Like most of you I own (or have owned) a 50mm 1.8 but as I use this on a cropped Canon 650D I'm finding it too narrow, but loving playing with the 1.8 aperture. So I've decided to buy something for use around the 30 to 35 mm range. I've seen the new Sigma Art range which have great...
