Adobe Photography Plan 89.99 on Amazon

Thank you, excellent timing for me - with no Prime Day last month, I was in danger of having to pay full price when my current 1 year plan runs out in a few weeks.

Which type of tripod head do you prefer?

Thanks all, I think I'll go with the ball head and see how I get on.

Which type of tripod head do you prefer?

I've been using a geared head for years (Manfrotto 410) and a while back I bought a ball head as it gives greater flexibility (specifically pointing up and down at much greater angles). Whilst the ball head is great (Manfrotto 468), I generally default to the 410, as the fine adjustability suits...

Adobe Creative Cloud Photography @ Amazon Prime day deal £69.99 - eqv £5.83 month :)

I've checked via an anonymous browser (i.e. unconnected with my Prime account) and it's now showing as £198, which is the same amount it's showing when I'm logged in... Edit: I can only see the 1TB version.

    The Photographer's Ephemeris

It’s a fantastic tool that I’ve been using for a few years - invaluable for planning holidays where you might get one chance for the right shot.

From Ultra slow internet to Ultra fast !

Mine all in (line rental, all the other stuff) is about £65 a month - still too expensive in my opinion but I don't have any other choice if I want a quick connection.

    Help on MPB Quote

I've sold a few things to them previously, they've always been good, even when DPD lost a 17-40 f4L. The address in the Steine is their office, but their stock is stored elsewhere, or at least it was when a friend of mine visited a few years ago. As for prices, I've got no issues with their...

From Ultra slow internet to Ultra fast !

Contention is possibly still an issue occasionally, but only in the sense it might dip to 150 on Speedtest. I've just run it and got these results: Off-peak might see it exceed 200.

From Ultra slow internet to Ultra fast !

Glad to hear this is becoming more widespread. I am fortunate to live in a fairly new house (granted, there are disadvantages!) and I signed up for FTTP a couple of years ago. We could get 300Mbps, but I felt 200 was probably enough...

    Brighton Beach

1, 3 and 4 for me. Excellent work. I'm close by and keep meaning to visit Brighton more with my camera. Those shots are definitely giving me some inspiration! Thank you for sharing them.

    Beginner Airport travel

I do hope not. I love the US, but at the moment it costs a fortune and I can certainly do without any additional travel hassle.

    Beginner Airport travel

Interesting to see that possibly the main reason for it not being implemented was lobbying to highlight the risk of a huge drop in transatlantic travellers. As Sarahhj said we've just binned an upcoming trip to the US in favour of Canada partially due to this looming threat. That's a few grand...

    backpack xxl

This. It's massive, designed for professional video gear, but adaptable via F-Stop's ICU system to take anything you want. The quality is excellent, but you certainly pay for it and the company's distribution woes are infamous.
