I have the RSF-284 and RSH-61 ball head and they're great. Very sturdy and well made. I would say definitely buy one you will not be disappointed!

I too am after a tripod and am steering towards Redsnapper after all the good reviews. Just need to decide on which head to get, confused by all the different ones!

Thanks for your reply, It sounds like its worth getting one for now at least as an interim bag until I get more gear! Not sure wether to get the rucksack or the sling bag though?

Hi there, I've just got into the world of slr photography having just brought a 60d. I'm in need of a camara bag and wondered if anyone had any experience with the Amazon Basics bags? Ideally I would like something better such as a Kata bag, but for now I think I'm going to get a cheaper one...

Hi there, just brought my first dslr after having a go with a mates 40d. Tried a few out in the local shop and ended up with a 60d because it felt right in my hands. Still trying to work out how everything works but I love it! Should be able to pick up plenty of tips on here :)
