    D700 ai tab problem

I've a Nikon D700 that has been flawless, untill now. When attaching my older lenses the aren't pushing the ai tab far enough and I'm getting the fee error message. If I push the tab another one or two mm then it's fine. Anyone had this before or know if it can be "reset" some way? Thanks.

Sigma lens repair in the UK.

My Sigma 70-200 f2.8 APO DG EX lens has stopped autofocusing today. Who repairs and what sort of cost am I likely looking at? Thanks.

    Yes, misworded my title.

    Copyright infringement. Or not?

I've not contacted them yet and there are no rules on the group re photo usage. I don't know if the shop account is members of the page but their employees definitely are. It's not a huge deal, more annoyed at not crediting me or asking permission. It's not like I'm a pro loosing money on the...

    Copyright infringement. Or not?

This concerns photos I posted to a closed (but not hidden) group on Facebook related to one of my hobbies. A local shop that sells items for this hobby has then downloaded some of my pictures and put them into a collage, a deliberate act rather than a simple "repost", and posted them on their...

    Where to buy Film

I'd second the Poundland idea. My local branch always has huge stock of it. Only downside is that it's ALWAYS Agfa Vista 200 24exp. Usually has long expirery dates though.

Anyone used The Photographers Bag on ebay ?

Could be interesting, they've bought my D300 via an account in the name of tpbonline. They also trade as filterfantastic. And they truly do have some fantastical prices; D70 for £219, D300 for £899 WTF?????

Show us yer film shots then!

Little more than a test shot but I'm happy with the colours and how it looks. Nikon FM, 50mm f/1.4, Agfa Vista 200 from Poundland and cheap Asda develop and scan.

    Google Pixel Smartphone

Me neither :) Be interesting to see how they fair against Apple. The Nexus line was massively overlooked I think.

    Google Pixel Smartphone

Still though, reputable manufacturer and I'm sure Google know what they're doing with the design side of things.

Are the Pixels not made by HTC though?

    Google Pixel Smartphone

Google is just the name on the phone though, Samsung, LG, Motorola have all done the hardware in the past and are all respected manufacturers. If anything a Google phone, be it Nexus or Pixel, is usually quicker and more user friendly due to vanilla Android on them. They also receive the latest...

    D700 or d7100

Just gone from D300 to D700 and the difference is huge. Only have my 50 f1.8 and 70-200 f2.8 at moment but the 50 has a new lease of life on a FX body due to it not having the 1.5x multiplier of the D300. Low light performance is amazing. Have a Nikon 28-120 and Tamron 28-75 f2.8 coming this...

Meike / Aputure / Neewer / Any other

I've had a DSTE grip for my D300 and it was completely fine and unable. However, I now have a genuine Nikon (2nd hand off the classifieds here) and the difference is huge. DSTE: mostly plastic Nikon:mostly metal I do still use DSTE en-el4a batteries, charger and bl3. All compatible with genuine...

    Aperture control lever, Nikon cameras

I've just bought a used D700 and upon mounting a lens the viewfinder was really dark (lens was a 50mm f/1.8). Looking into the lens it was stopped down at f/22 so I removed the lens to check the aperture lever on the body. On my D300 its resting position is in the raised position but on the D700...
