Think I prefer the B&W over the colour shots, they add more character and depth to the pictures. My favourites are first and with the first being top of the list. Looks like it was taken in the 70's, almost a "Hendrix" type shot. Good job and thank you for sharing.
Really like this. Can you share your lighting setup too? And, assuming it's flash, did the horse not spook? I ride and was wondering about something along these lines at the stables I ride at.
It was spotted as I was walking round Warwick town centre one summers evening.
As for housekeeping, I don't have any software that I could do that with (not bought any yet), the only way I could lose them would be to do a tighter crop on the picture.
Thank you, that makes a lot more sense now. I don't have studio lights, just speed lights.
I should get a chance this weekend to try out these alterations so I'll try and post up some new images if I can.
David, thank you for your comments, much appreciated.
Background was lit from behind with one speedlight so I guess the spread of light wasn't even enough to cover the entire background which would lead to the colour fall off. Is that right?
"the lighting is way too high". Is this physically...
Thanks for your comments.
Yes, background was very wrinkled towards the edges. I'd not got any clamps available to stretch it out. As for the "shadows", it could be where the background is doubled over and and pegged at the sides.
