Aargh! This just reminded me that I forgot to change my WB setting when I grabbed my camera to take a few family shots last night. I suspect they're going to come out looking rather orange.

The first time I remember being especially fascinated with photography was when I first saw Edgerton's work. His images of water are especially beautiful.

It doesn't really sound like you're doing high mileage, so I'm wondering why you're wanting to opt for the diesel. If your journey isn't long enough to warm the engine and components, you're not going to really benefit from the fuel consumption. Not to mention the cost of things going wrong...

Surely the first thing to check is that the resolution of the photos you're wanting to print is of sufficient pixels for the size print. E.g. A 400x600 px image isn't going to look great on a large print.

Very good point. I'll have to remember to take glass cleaner and microfibre cloth along. Even if I set off with a clean car, the windows will pick up crap on the trip down. (y)
