Sidelight is the best light. This is great. Like the shadows leading up to the last of the light on the edge of the storm. Going out in crappy but changing weather always holds the chance that this might happen but we can't always be bothered to take a chance :) I would have been excited too!

As a fellow mountain lover I can appreciate this :) Although I would have been tempted to do a little pano to get more in.

First one has superb lead in via an S curve. Great composition that works really well.

I like the top one if not a little dark. I would dump HDR and revisit the top one blending the exposures instead.

I like the colour. Very moody but I agree the crop is a little too tight.
