    Relentless

Nice one Ewan, busy as hell down there lately I imagine. The sunsets don't seem to be good lately, hopefully they will improve soon! http://www.speedgraphic.co.uk/ - still have some LEE filters in stock.

    A couple of recent mono

Hi Dale Yes, I used the screw in B&W ND110 for my Sigma 10-20 - cheers!

    First HDR attempt

Hi Joe I don't think any amount of HDR or any other process is going to do much for that white sky unfortunately. I think you have to have at least something going in the original shot for it to work well. Also the HDR version looks a little soft, did you use a tripod? One of the biggest...

Nice one Claire, #1 with the lead in path looks best to me. I off to have a look at this tomorrow (with the masses)

    Going Down...

Staircase with a dash of tonemapping - almost on an Escher tip - but not quite...

Went to find a waterfall...and found one.

Well worth the trek! I'm partial to a touch of hdr myself, however I think the original wins this round - great framing too :)

Kent and Sussex - a few miles apart

Camber 1 & both the Petts standout to me - shame the sky wasn't a little more colourful though - great shots :)

    A couple of recent seascapes

No probs! I wanted to try and improve that shot - so I tried another approach with a B&W conversion and square crop - which I think looks better, although I'm sort of new to the scary area of B&W. No, I haven't submitted them to any mags as yet - might do in the future. Thanks again guys...

Your help please - what's missing?

They're all very good to me.. #2 looks the best visually to me, although it lacks some of the contast and colour of 1 & 3 - only by a touch mind. Great work!

    A couple of recent seascapes

Hi, it's a screw on ND filter that cuts the light by 10 stops, to help blur water and sky movement - cheers! I always shoot RAW & these shots have all had some colourwork done, such as vibrancy and selective colour adjustments via Photoshop. Although the original shots all had a good amount...

    Another Icelandic scene......

Great scene - I think a blend of the original sky & a lighter bottom half would be perfect ;)
