I really like the menu's, especially when I get a new camera, I can spend ages playing with them and tweaking stuff etc. It's the going out in the cold and rain, taking photos, that I wish could be easier.

Opposite for me, tried the mouse and sold it. Trackpad for me.

If the hdd is working fine, I would flog the iMac and buy one with an original ssd fitted.

The Phantom 3 is very easy to fly, never tried the Mavic Pro. Don't know if this suits you, I have no affiliation whatsoever with these Chinese crowd, but I'm told they are very reliable, and hope they are, as mine is on its way. They will pay VAT and Duty so there are no hidden charges when...

It's an endless futile pursuit, looking for the perfect bag. :) Big bags are too heavy, small bags don't hold enough etc. etc. I have bought umpteen bags, (although never backpacks, don't like them). The "best" compromise "shoulder bag", I have found to date is the Billingham 335.
