I'm on the plan.

What happens if I purchase this?

Will I still get charged £9.98 a month or is the system intelligent?

It's been a few years since I was on the pay monthly option but when I changed it adjusted automatically
 
It just pushes your next payment 12 months in to the future.

You go through the process of adding the code, and basically your subscription gets put back a year. I can't remember how many you can stack, but know you can lump a couple on. I need to check how many I have lined up already ;)

It should revert to the Amazon payment, then when that's finished next year, it should revert to your monthly payment again, however to be sure it may be worth giving them a call.
 
Having just checked my adobe account, I`m good until Nov 2025 :D

Your payments will stop until this 12 months is over and then payments will start again, unless you buy another deal next years.

I'm all paid up until April 2026 now.
 
Nice! I just got lightroom + 1tb for £60.

I don't really need photoshop anymore, and if I do need something like that I'll look into affinity or something. Great result!
 
Good to see these are still coming up. I got one in July during the prime (?) sales. I got ripped off as I paid £74.99 ;)

I honestly don’t know why anyone pays £9.99 a month when these can be bought and stacked at a much lower price. As far as I know they will just push back the monthly payment until the pre paid period runs out. You can add another before the year is up.

I’m now paid up until November 2025 as I stack a few years to ensure I can miss one of the Amazon sales periods. I first started buying it this way in Nov 2017. I haven’t ever paid the £9.99 monthly rate.
 
Hi, can I just ask? Last time I purchased just Lightroom without really looking into it when I tried to use it after some PP I could not open an image in any other program (was using Affinty at the time) and it saved images to the cloud rather than my computer, if this comes back on Friday will it let me just save images to my computer and not the cloud and can you open from this version of Lightroom to other applications? Thank You, Russ.

AFAIK you want to use lightroom classic and save to hard drive.

There has been a recent update to Lightroom, non-Classic, that allows you to save and edit without uploading to the Cloud.

Yes, that's the version that now allows you to edit locally without using the cloud.
 
My sub for the full CC runs out in a few weeks.

Currently paying £30ish on offer but will go up to £56.98 which is too much for the little I use Premiere/AE.

Is there likely to be any more offers leading up to Black Friday? and is there normally an office on the complete suite?

I got the email from them last month as my sub was due to end this month so I cancelled it, they sent me an offer of £24.99 to continue, so you might get lucky as I did.
 
My sub is due to end in February, just looked at Amazon and it's no cheaper, still £119 per year. I've put it in my list in case it goes down during the week.

Great didn't no about the change as when it all went just to cloud (the bit I missed when purchased it) I took it off computer so now any good videos on this version of Lightroom please. Thank you, Russ.
 
Adobe are actually running Black Friday offfer on their site, presently 50% off the full suite which is pretty good.

Good value if you work on most of the Apps :) hoping the price will come down for the photography plan, keeping my fingers crossed.

Hi, well tried it again but still find it very restrictive to what you can do, when I had Lightroom 6 perpetual I could send to any other application and have it return to Lightroom maybe I am missing something but the cloud version still only lets you open an image in Photoshop. JMO but for what you pay if not on offer there are better options out there like On1 photo raw or Affinity photo although with Affinity you don't get a DAM but there are easy ways around that. Russ.

sometimes I need Illustrator. Problem is I may not need it again for like a year or more so you just pay though the nose for 1 month, bill the customer and then cancel it till next time. Inkscape can deal with it pretty well up to some point.

Some will run Premiere Pro but I personally am quite happy with Resolve, and that appears to be the preferred application for many.
 
I'm checking every day for this deal on Amazon, but it doesn't look like it's going to drop in price:mad::mad:

Thanks, just bought 2. Don't want the McAfee though, won't be using them. I'm happy to give the activation codes to someone in exchange for a couple of cups of coffee to TP
 
Hi, just be careful here, I may be wrong and if so sorry but I bought the cloud plan last year and it is so cut down IMO that you cannot do anything outside it unless you have Photoshop, yes you can now save images to a local folder but you can't open an image to an external app like DXO Pure Raw for example, again I may be wrong but please check it first. Russ.

This isn't that. The 20GB plan includes LR Classic. You wouldn't get very far with only 20Gb cloud storage. The cloud version does everything LR Classic does, just without plugins and printing. To me that's no consequence and I couldn't go back to LR Classic. Obviously if you use plugins or external editors it's a deal breaker.

I have the full 1TB everything plan as my dad uses LR Classic and I use all the cloud side of things. The plan I use never, ever goes on sale sadly.
