3 peaks pano and Ingleborough as the sun was going down.

I've spent at least two very cold hours up on the moors today and walked up a large hill which nearly saw me off.

I'm hoping it was worth it. I'm not 100% happy but I rarely am these days. I tried to do some bracketing today for the first time and failed miserably. I thought the camera automatically took 2-3 shots when you pressed the shutter, aparently it doesn't or I haven't got it set right still?

Anyway these were the results after finally getting the feeling back in my face and hands. Think it was about -3.5 by the time I left.

1. The pano. I know it has a bit of banding and needs a bit more work but I want an early night as its back to work tomorrow.

I quite like the pano. #2 and #3 would have been quit nice if it wasn't for the dreaded photographers shadow!

Having climbed Wernside I can appreciate how cold it is there when you took that.

I was supposed to be walking up Ingleborough yesterday but it was just tooo cold.

Oh is your cam set to 'continuous shooting'?
My canon has to be set to that or even in AEB mode you still have to press the shutter 3 times to take the bracketed shots.

Regarding the shadow. How on earth do you avoid it? I'm guessing the answer is set it up and use either a remote of the timer so you can get down low?
