Many thanks to everyone that entered. A very nice turn out considering the weather we have had and generally dismal conditions not conducive to getting out with cameras. The point of this challenge is to get people involved and have fun and I think, fro comments here and in the discussion threa,d that as certainly been the case. Maybe a few more people now have the bird photography bug

I am new to birding so don't expect to much, but this is my effort for the challenge, this was taken a few days ago.

oKy doky, here is mine. I already had a shot I was going to use if all else failed that I got earlier in the month , a dunnock in snow, but I had several ideas I wanted try and get, including this one and managed it today. LBJ - Little brown Job - I wanted a shot that showed the bird in its natural environment and why being murky brown works for them as camouflage.

So without further ado, my take on LBJ
