Blackpool TP meet images

Love the drunk, nicely processed, and the B&W suits the image very well.

The old couple sat round the side of him thought we had lost the plot when we all stopped and started to photograph him

They are great... The Drunk is Brilliant, and I Agree with Chilli, B & W converstion really does it justice..(y)

The amount of shots on here that I though "ooo no one else will have got that one" and you lot haven't only got it, but you have captured it much better :p you buggers!

Cracking set though Chilli :D Think I suffered from blurry angles too :( but the ferris wheel stuff and the black and white pier shots are crackers!

Haha thats a good one! I suddenly realised I was stuck between two photographers in the middle of the tram lines, and Marcel looks like he has just nicked someones camera and making a quick get away

One more from me, then i must get on with some work ;)

Still got some work to do on this one - not to sure i like it, but hey, its all a learning curve :)

I like it Chilli (and have a similar shot) your tower seems to be leaning a tad though :)

I promise I will post some pics soon :p got family visiting at the moment, so it seems a bit rude to sit at my pc for a couple of hours processing all my shots :p

Yeah - it is leaning (didn't you notice that on the day ;) )

I am trying to straigten it as we speak.

I still haven't even looked at mine yet - although I did remember to take them off the card last night. I will be taking a look tonight and I'll post some here later.

I am most impressed at the Whiteflyer Tram and Drunk, Ckickadee's smoking mum shot and Chilli's B&W shot of the pier and the Pleasure Beach.

I was in Blackpool on that night , but only signed up on TP that night before I set off , am I ok to post some of my pictures in this thread???

:)

Those shots are great djbolf :D Really like the light trails - brilliant idea doing it with the cyclists!! didnt even cross my mind :( Cant work out where you got the one of the illuminations and the tower, its a great shot though. (y) good set :)

Those images by JLProductions look nice ;)

Everytime I go through my shots there are more I like! This is just the fire stuff at the end of the day. Could take me a while to get through the rest :p

Finally got round to seeing some of my shots

Here are a few - I found that the shots during the day were better than the night ones of the parade as I wasn't in an ideal position (too many people at the top end - serves me right for going home early)

I'll post more later once I've processed them

Here are a few of mine. The processing's not great, but tbh my monitor's on the blink, I'm quite into weird americana/carny at the moment, and if they're left they'll join the queue of 2000 images waiting to be processed . How cool is Blackpool though?. It's as grotty as hell, but from a togs perspective it's fantastic. So much light, so many reflections and landmarks and things.

Jimmy- You managed well to capture the fire twirlers really well there.. And the Last fireworks one is great.. Nicely done.. (y)

Benneh-Love the different tones you've converted too.. love the Shot of the Big One ..and the Last Casino B&W(y)

Simon- Love the colours and Light in number 2.. and the reflection is tops(y)

Lovin the shots there benneh. Saw that Casino one on camera, and knew it was gonna be a goodun.

That "Big One" shot though, is absolutely fantastic though. Seriously. (Although I think the post could do with a straighten...or not...either or). I really really like it though.

benneh the burger king is very 50s americana, and like the others say the Big One and Casino are excellent

Hehe cheers for the comments, you sexy mothers. Some great images posted in here :).

Wow, ive never seen blackpool from so many different angles!

I need to come in this forum more often. If had had know about it then I would have been first one there! :(

roll up your Trousers, Don a handkerchief with Knots in the ends and go Paddling .. A la Traditional British Seaside Tradition...

Only, in 21st century Britain the 'paddlers' are on average two or three stone heavier than in the dainty Victorian and Edwardian epochs . . . !

There are no contact details for angel stuff, just a post on that forum in the link.

Regarding the shots for their publicity purposes the post says:
http://www.redeye.org.uk/redeye/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=1129&TPN=1 Anyone get any pictures of anything else...I'd be particularly interested in any illuminated shots of the parade or any illuminated vehicles? Always tricky to get good shots of the vehicles on the move. If anyone has any images and wouldn't mind me using them and could send me a CD of high res images to use in publicity etc (I'd credit anything used) I'd be very grateful! P.S that is a cracking shot (y) much better than any of mine!

Was a bit disappointed that I walked away from that day with a dozen images. Didn't really have any good ones but will add the below for completeness.

Ferris Wheel, Central Pier, no doubt shot to death.
