@ Leigh - I'm pretty sure you don't need to apologise seeing as it's your DVD that you've generously offered to share with us!
It's not looking good either if Dave's inbox is full (i know i've got at least 1 message in there though) and he's had it since July
Oh dear - I'm guessing the mods must have the email he signed up with, I wonder if they are willing to share it?
Im here! Guys im everso sorry. Really didnt mean to cause anyone any worry over there DVD's whereabouts. Its here safe and sound, and I have pm'd AKR for his address.
It did indeed get returned by the postie while I was away, but in a host of other stuff I have got going on in life it got buried under a pile of stuff and forgotten about. I have a brain like a seive im afraid. The fact I dont get emails when I recieved pm's on here doesnt help (though I think ive just rectified that).
Anyway...ignore my excuses. My cock up, and im genuinely sorry.
The lenses only work as preset lenses with the adapter. Focusing works with the EE-S screen, but isn't as easy as on most Nikon film models (see previous posts).Rather than start a new thread I thought I'd ask the 5d gurus on here.
Anyone use manual lenses with their 5d? I have a range of manual focus Nikon cameras and lenses and I fancy trying full frame digital but can't afford a D700.
How much functionality do you get using an adapter? Is it just stop down metering?
It would be mainly for landscape and cityscape not anything requiring speed of use or (obviously) AF.
Thanks.

Any chance I could get myself added to the DVD list please? My camera should arrive in a few days
And the mirror has just fallen out!
Hopefully canon are still doing free repairs!
There are the usual suspects called Kiwifotos, Fotodiox, Novoflex, Metabones and Kippon. The most renowned chinese sellers are Big-is and jinfinance.any recommendations for where to get a nikon to eos adapter for 5D use
Cheers

Also with f1.8 you can get nice and creative!
