Competition.Marten Mere Meet 6/2/10

Neil at Stealth wildlife does have access to the site. He’s either going to use his old logon if he can remember the details or he’ll use Fracster’s logon to look at the photos.

I’ll send a PM to Fracster tomorrow to remind him the closing date has arrived and he’ll get in touch with Neil to do the judging and announce the winners.
 
Totally forgot about this, been bombed out at work and with all my rugby stuff for the past fortnight. Will see what I can dig out later

ooo wonder who wins....i have a feeling nikon dave might win the overall best pic....not sure who will win best non-bird though....stoo....did u not enter that pic of ** daughter in the hide as non-bird...bet that would have won x

have had a look at the entries and there is some pretty good stuff, I will take a more in depth look later and make some decisions, not going to be easy though,

Hi all,
First of all It was good to meet and chat to a lot of you at Martin Mere and thank you for Taking part in Stealth wildlife's little comp on the day.
Secondly I hate judging anything but someone has got to do it so please dont take offence to the results as it is meant to be a little bit of fun with the added bonus of some prizes so I will appolagise now if some of you disagree with my decisions.
I have been going back and forward looking at the pictures and they are all good in different ways.

Heya, thanks Tracey... I've been an extremely busy boy since the meet and haven't had much time to frequent these forums. VAT return, Year End accounts, and a new(er) car have all occupied me. I'm also waaaaaaay behind in the 52 competition and have a lot of catching up to do! :eek:

Congrats to the competition winners... all well deserved :clap:
 
When is the Zoo Meet? If it is on a day when I am free can I come along? Maybe I can add some prizes for the day? 1st - 2nd - 3rd beanbags all round?
On a more serious side would it be possible for all winners to let me have a copy of their photo's in Jpeg form so that I can add it to the stealth wildlife news section?

It was a great shot and to win it with a shot of something that most of us took just goes to show how much better yours was (y)

I am afraid that I cannot make it as I am at another show ( work work work ) so for the next 30 weeks unless something comes up mid week I cannot attend but if we at Stealth can support the North west with some prizes we will.
Talking about Mid week if anybody does get Mid week time and wants someone to tag along think of me.

I managed to pop in to Neill and Jan's (stealth Wildlife) to pick up my prize....what a lovely couple!!! Had a great chat about equipment and some new wildlife spots to explore!! Plus i manage to pick up my jacket (which seems to be a brilliant outdoor tog jacket - review in a few weeks after a 'testing'!)...so once again thanks for the prize and the acknowledgement.. i'll make very good use out of the jacket!!
