Hmm, as a photo I do like the strong colors on the photo and I think it has been taken from a nice angle.
Other than that.. unfortunately not my cup of tea.

But I am not that sure if the photo is that much 'sport' - more like a sportrait.
As there really isn't any action in it...
 
I think this is a great shot. I'd love something like this of Holly. I haven't read any of the other comments, but was this taken using flash outside? (obviously it was outside, it's the flash bit I am asking) ;)
 
I love the idea. I'm with the King of Flash (Yes you Tomas!) on the flash technique and that's just something to keep trying.

I think the composition would be strengthened if you could get the handlebars coming into the pic on the corner. I think it would anchor the shot quite nicely. Either turn the canvas round to try to get it in the corner to see if it works or go and have some more fun. :)
