One of my 4gb cards died on me today, so I went looking for another.
Found THIS one on Amazon and just could not believe the fantastic saving on this card!!!

Well... Amazon, is a decent company selling it, so ok from that point of view. Hama are well known for various accessories and so on, so they're probably ok. Although I must say they wouldn't be the first ones I ever thought of for memory cards. The 30 MB/sec speed is fine if it's true? And the price at just over £40 isn't bad, a 16GB Sandisk extreme III is around £60 at play.com.

I guess you should be fine.

why not buy a few 4gb cards so if one dies then you still have more. btw have you tried reformatting the card?

Yep! Camera just comes up with 'Err CF'. Card still works in a card reader though! All other cards work in camera! Weird init? I will use it for storage/transfer for non-essential files. No probs. Looking at 7dayshop.com for my next cards, got some bargains on there.
