I only seem to see them in the winter months on our local river.
There were plenty Little Grebes down at Rye Meads last week.

Yep, I've had a little trouble with them doing that to me as well. They did it so much I made a game out of guessing where they would pop up and try to be ready on the button for them ... tricky little buggars they are. :banghead: They would start out in one direction but do a u-turn under water and throw you off, much like an anhinga does.
