I have come back to look at this and there is one thing sort of niggling me, there is a lighter area around the taller buildings on the right. Is it something to do with the processing or just the lighting of the town/city?

Still like it though!
 
Thank you!! It is a miscellany of two things, the lighting and the processing. The processing has exaggerated those changes in light. I've also gone around that problem, but in the end, after trying several ways this is the result that convinces me.

Something doesn't look right here. Is this a composite? The city looks "blue hour" but the sun is too high in the sky for that to be the case. The light in the sky does not match what we see in the foreground.
