Ok, I have to be honest and say that I saw this elsewhere but I thought it would be great to mention on this forum at some point as a competition theme and now seems a good time.
The theme is; no cropping!
Henri Cartier-Bresson was famously against cropping and often stamped Do Not Crop on his photos. Vivian Maier developed only a fraction of her prolific output and therefore only viewed most of her images once and that was in the viewfinder.
So, any subject you like, any format, monochrome or colour, composition is king and add a little rebate to your entries to show that the image is what you saw please.
Assuming the normal time frame is a month shall we set Friday 15 November as the end?
Regards
Mark
