Ok, 'interchangeable' is a bit of a qualifier that you didn't stress in the thread title. That's a hint that you could communicate better - but you could be some sort of '-lexic' or '-istic', and I forgive you anyway. What was you first interchangeable lens camera and your latest.
Hi, my second SLR was a MINOLTA XD7, bought 1981, and my first digital camera was MINOLTA F300 (5MP), bought 2003.What an interesting selection, good to see a few Praktica's in there. If my memory is correct you could buy the Praktica and Zenit's from the catalogues. Thats how I got mine with my mum paying for it weekly. No Minoltas in there, I still think it's a shame their name stopped once Sony bought them.
Yep, my Praktica came from a catalogue, and of course paid for by my mum!!! My mate had a Zenit EM, but I chose the MTL3 for the TTL metering.... My next camera was a Chinon CE-5 which I bought myself and I got much better results with that one... I still have the CE-5 and it still works!!!What an interesting selection, good to see a few Praktica's in there. If my memory is correct you could buy the Praktica and Zenit's from the catalogues. I've still got my old pair of Pentax MX's. Good solid cameras. My first was a Zenith EM followed by a Pentax MX. This was a brilliant camera and I learned an awful lot with it. Still wish I'd kept it.

Are you saying I was posh with a Praktica I still have photos taken with my MTL50 in albums that I will always cherishMy Zenith was with TTL metering. At that time, the Practika was almost three times as expensive. My current camera is a Canon R6, but I stil using the lens from my first camera. It produce amazing swirl bokeh.
