This was just posted on the Raptor Persecution blog - peregrine caught in pole trap and dies. Pole traps have been illegal since 1904.

It is very difficult to catch and prosecute those responsible(61 incidents in 2022 but only 2 prosecutions) and but unless the penalties for persecution are more severe it will continue.
