I've done this a few times now and revisted an old folder today, it's amazing how even processing tastes change over time.

I've used a tripod there several times with no hassle. That said, I've never bumped into a security guard there. The museums seem to be stricter on tripod use and you have to sign a disclaimer before you use one at them.

Space wise, no problem at all.
