Taken on a little Canon Ixus 70 a couple of years ago in 2009. This used to be on a wall at the rear of the sorting office on Newman Street just off Oxford St in London, it's since been painted over, philistines.

It just amazes me the sheer talent of these guys, they put us in our place I tad I feel.

This is just brilliant. Nice shot and not surprised its a seller (y)

Its always supprised me to be honest. ;) Thanks.

Not the greatest artwork, but it always creeps me out when I walk or cycle under this remote bridge (like I did at 5am today :() ...

Just noticed this thread. I've taken many pictures of the graffiti around Manchester on my way into work as part of my 365 project. Here's some of my favourites, all just snaps from my camera phone unfortunately.

Hey garryknight your thread is the FIRST one since I registered 2 mins ago. I recognized the second and fourth, and you know what, I have to tell you that it is really strange because I have seen the second and fourth with my own eyes, I LIVE IN LIVERPOOL! Can anything be stranger like that?

:( I get a bit travel sick if I can't see where I'm going, so I hope that this carriage has been decomissioned (for the sake of others like me).

Much as we (photographers) applaud the creativity of some of the artwork in these murals, it's examples like the one above which really bring it home to me that much of this graffiti is simply vandalism - criminal damage, which costs fare/tax payers a small fortune every year .

It amazes me that it is so widely tolerated by the police and public alike . No wonder young people in Britain think it's their 'right' to go looting shops, rioting and terrorising people :cautious:.

Sorry, that was a bit too political for this thread, but I feel better for saying it .

Merry Xmas!

Bristol Street Art

For anyone in the Bristol area- the buildings covered in the recent graffiti of See No Evil in Nelson street are due to be demolished soon. I think demolition starts this weekend, so not much time to get some final shots in!
