Cheers ive asked on the Classifieds aswell so will give it a couple of days.

Do you know if its possible to use the same copy of LR on a windows and OSX computer?

and it sometimes work out cheaper to buy the boxed version rather than the digital download version - this is due to the various rates of VAT around Europe - I think the downloads come from a server in Ireland and you get charged 21% rather than a box which comes from the UK at 20%. Regardless of where they come from there is a couple of quid saving, and you can use the trial until the box arrives with the serial code.
 
Cheers folks, its a few quid cheaper from Adobe actually. The boxed version would suit me better as ive got a poor internet connection :(

If you have a student in the family you could look into the Adobe Education shop.
They currently have LR4 for £59 + postage.

Some restrictions e.g. you cant resell it , only for private use etc..

Can't resell - correct.

Private use only - incorrect. You are allowed to use it for commercial purposes.

I was probably reading too much into the 'This license may be used only on your privately owned computer.' bit under the 'Restrictions on use' section.

Would be a dream to use Lightroom commercially - i.e. make some money out of my photography !!:eek:
 
Bought mine from here last week. I can confirm that you don't have to spend over £100 :)

Got it for my daughter via the student scheme £60 a great deal. Ordered online Monday 8pm and had approval for student scheme at 5am Tuesday morning along with serial no.
