Maplins Mini Studio

looks pretty ok for a tenner, cant really go wrong for that, think i will treat myself, thanks for the link ...

let us know how it works out.....what lighting are you going to use with it?

I have no idea yet as this will be my first attempt at any studio work. I have a couple of old flash units and umbrellas, which I have not had time to work out yet. They where a hand me down from my father. But I think they will be to powerful for the mini setup.

As bonsyde says, for £10 I cannot go wrong and it will be a good starting point to learn some studio/lighting skills.

just recived it today, what a bargin for £10..... just need to get round to useing it now

I have one I bought with the Hama group-buy-discount on here a few years ago, and it's great. Don't use it much though. Only criticism is that it only comes with grey or blue backgrounds. Get some sheets of white paper/card for a nicer background. The person who took the maplin photo set it up wrong - the bit shown at the back (white thing) goes on the top to diffuse light from 3 sides.
