Olympus OM1 @ HDEW £1269

Excellent deal-3 year warranty included.
I have bought a couple of lenses off them, they were delivered very quickly,
I have never had to use their warranty so cannot comment.
 
Can't see where you insert the roll of film , OM1 is a film camera isn't it ?

I did have a problem with a Canon 5d4 I bought from them which had to be replaced under guarantee. The fact that it was a grey outlet did complicated matters.

It was all very convoluted. It first had to go to one of HDEW's official repairers (Glasgow, i think) who claimed to have repaired it but hadn't. It also went back to Canon who confirmed there was a fault (which made it +/- unusable) but wouldn't replace it. IIRC it eventually went back to HDEW who obtained a replacement which they sent on to me. Canon were a real pain in the ****, which contributed to me moving away from Canon altogether.

So yes, there are disadvantages to buying grey but a very large percentage of equipment is completely fine for several years after purchase, so it hasn't put me off buying grey since then.
