this guy isn't mine, but my aunties. My own dog loves him though!
She bought him thinking he was all staffie but he seems to be a mixed breed now he's grown up! still gorgeous though!

there's some serious intent in those eyes

if you don't know staffies you might mistake that for agression - I suspect though its the usual urgent Staffie need to get playing NOW!!!

must dig out some of mine!

(y) That is one of the nicest staffies I have seen for quite a while.Makes a change from all the crossed long legged skinny things you see these days. Some lovely staffs on the thread. Will get a couple of our male we lost to cancer 3 years ago.:(

These two boys turned up at the rescue yesterday[through another organisation] the pics don't show, but the Tiger Brindle is a GORGEOUS example, actually, both of them are.

Thank you, he's Rumrourke/Mostaff bred.

I'm looking forward to seeing the pics of yours. So sorry to hear you lost him.

second ones a bulldog but lovley neverthe less

Such playful little dogs... Nellie is TINY in comparison to some of these and others we see on the walk. She's definitely a pedigree but must have been the runt of the litter!! She doesn't eat much either, but likes Mango and has a Happy Meal every Sunday :0)

diesel and jazz my two babies

Terry, I adore Diesals colour, really like blues. They both look like they are waiting for a treat there lol :)

A beautiful thread and some lovely dogs. I can't contribute as I don't have a staffie - It's sad to see so many that need re-homing over here in Belgium mainly due to irresponsible owners and new laws concerning "dangerous" dogs :bang:

a couple of mine on there own

What awesome pics everyone - Paul I LOVE pic #4 in your first post, stunning.

Do you find that your staffies hate being photographed?? Nellie always legs it so the only time I can really set up a picture iswhen she is distracted with attacking a tree or when she's playing with a toy!

Here are a few more pics of Nel, we went to the woods on Sunday and she got into more trouble:

Looking for trees to climb!!:

A tree got it's own back on Nellie!!!:

How many staffies do you want, there are about 100 here

2009NSBTR1136.jpg

Can you imagine the fun here with 100+ staffies all trying to get to the front!!!

That's my idea of heaven :)

I went to crufts last year and the Staffie section was excellent, so funny and so many of them - it really highlighted how popular the breed is, and with good reason... THEY RULE!!!

I dont own Staffies, but have photographed a few..

My nieces Birmingham Dogs Home special.

Fantastic!!! What better way is there to promote this Breed!!

Indeed, StaffiTaxi (a member here) helps organise this event in the Lake District in May (a 2 day event - 15th & 16th May this year) and another sponsored walk in round Lake Rudyard in Staffordshire (near Leek) in October. I love doing the events and meeting all the dogs and their owners. Despite there being over 100 of them in the May Weekend I don't recall a single problem over the years I've attended.

My pair taken today.

There is a DVD documentary available of the weekend last year. We've just sent a copy to our local MP.

Should be great again this year. We have the Beaufoy's judging the Companion Dog Show and Tony George (fingers crossed) travelling across from New York to be VIP for the Sponsored Walk.
