All sounds good. I spent 7 weeks in Tanzania a few years back, another mate did several months in Malawi. Might as well travel while you have the chance
Good stuff.
The parts of Africa I've seen so far have been amazing, fascinating place and great for taking photos.
Hey Jacob,
Sounds like your still having a wicked time. Im not sure when you intended to be in Vietnam but Ive just had a 2 weeks photography project offer in Indonesia and will be away from Mui ne from the 21st Jul. If you still need any info on Mui ne, the Mekong or places to visit just drop me a line. The best way to get around is the open ticket tourist buses, very cheap and most of the time reliable although the train is a must for part of your journey if you have the time.
If you are still in Cambodia, Kampot is a great little village well worth a visit, has a old colonial French town perched high on a mountain top complete with casino and palace.
Great to hear your enjoying your travels and lets hope your stomach gives you no more jip...
Some fantastic shots there, Jacob.
Both of the two boys and especially from the Bamboo Train, great stuff.
Great shots from Hoi An, Jacob.
I leave in less than 3 weeks, so excited!
Interesting to read about the difference between $10 and $15-20 in accommodation terms too, will bear that in mind as we travel.
Yeah its a huge difference IMO. If you are with others its even better because it only costs you $7-$10 each Thanks for the comments about the images as well
Hi Jacob,
I have been following your website/blog with interest as I'm looking to go back to Vietnam and include Cambodia and Laos this time.
You pictures are excellent and writing is really insighful.
I have been reading your reviews too. In particular the pacasfe review, I am going to have to invest in one for extra peace of mind.
Looking forward to the next update!!

Jacob, as I've said before, truly fantastic and inspiring photography. May I ask, is there much processing involved with your particular style? The photography is outstanding, lighting, compostionally, technically superb. I am just wondering if there is a lot of PP involved to really make them pop or is it just minimal due to the initial image being excellent.
Hello Gaz,
Thanks for your comments as always I really appreciate the compliments, the PP varies quite a bit between images, is there any one image you can think of specifically that you would like to know the workflow behind?
Thanks Jacob. There wasn't am image imparticular, however, if I had to choose my favourite part from your site, it would have to be the H'mong Villagers.
