My wife is wearing her new "Liz4PM" teeshirt today. So far she has been verbally abused, spat at, slapped round the head and had a coffee thrown at her. Imagine how bad it will be when she leaves the house!

I assumed the original joke was a play on words about Durum (Durham?!) wheat, from which pasta is made. I just found out there's a place in Nigeria called Durum -- I suspect there is no more pasta wheat in Durum, Nigeria than there is in the city of Durham.
