Travelling on Eurostar with tripod

Of to Reims this weekend which means my first Eurostar trip! How fussy are they re tripods?! Website just says anything that could be construed as a weapon maybe prohibited?! Anyne travelled had issues?

I've travelled by air with a monopod in my hand luggage along with big lens and camera. On it's own it might look a little suspect. As far as I'm aware there are no written rules, I suppose it just depends on the mood of whoever searches your bags!

I've travelled on the Eurostar with a tripod. It was in it's case, no-one batted an eyelid.
