Hi everyone,
Not sure if this is allowed but I've recently volunteered to help a charity and have been submitting some of my images to their flickr group....
I asked if they wanted to put some txt together and I would copy it to this forum as a way of helping them reach some more photographers.
So this is from YouthNet.org.
Interested in volunteering your photography skills to help a charity? YouthNet (http://www.youthnet.org), the online charity for 16-25 year olds, is always looking for new photographer volunteers to help create visual content for their websites TheSite.org (http://www.thesite.org#) and Do-it.org.uk (http://www.do-it.org.uk)
As a budding photographer this opportunity supports you to get your work published online whilst at the same time adding a vibrant and unique look and feel to our websites. We no longer have to rely on free stock photo websites to populate the websites and this is all thanks to our volunteers!
The opportunity is virtual and really flexible, all you need is a camera and access to the internet. Take photos or choose existing photos and upload them to our Flickr group.
Interested? Get in touch with Laura - laura.owen@youthnet.org
