What insurance do you use?

For those of you who shoot trackside. What can you recommend in terms of insurance cover?

I've been shooting from the wrong side of the fence for too long. This is the first time I've looked at insurance companies and obviously all the websites look much the same and promise the earth. Just looking for some first hand experience if possible.

Do you combine liability and gear insurance? Do you mind me asking what you pay for what level of cover?

For PLI you will need a minimum of £5m and for that alone you will be looking at around £ 100/yr. Also, some Insurance companies allow you to "refer a friend" and both persons then get £ 25 back if you take out a policy.

im with infocus and 5 million PL and also kit cover cost me £195 in total a year

Thanks for the replies. Yes, I will need £5m PLI.

The company that comes up most when I search around is Aaduki. I'm going to try and sort something out this week so I'll start shopping around.

I use an alternative broker. PLI is PLI, it doesn't need to be a specific photography insurance supplier. Of course, you need other things than PLI to go trackside at race meetings.

Have a look at Cliik as well. They are very good and their claims handling is good too should you need it.
