I've been enjoying quite a few different 'photography days' and generally find that reviews, discussions around these are hard to come by (despite being very popular, I don't think I've done one that hasn't sold out).

Where is the best place to discuss these here, the general Talk Photography forum or in the subject specific areas (such as Nature, Transport etc)?

Probably Talk photography as that is the most active, or Talk Locations or "Talk" in the specific genera you are asking about.
But just pick one of those.
