The marbled duck is a beautiful and extremely rare duck found in southern Europe. Only 25-120 breeding pairs are thought to exist in Europe, and the species has an IUCN rating of 'Vulnerable'. Despite this a recent reintroduction made it very easy to see at El Clot de Galvany.
