Wet shaving and the new fancy razors..?

It is a problem of the internet in general but these forums seem to be particularly affected in that people often confuse having an opinion and being given a platform to air it with actually having something interesting to say.

Wet shaving and the new fancy razors..?

Did you buy all these razors you tried? DE are upwards of £20 so must have cost you a lot? I assume you can't return them/sell them on due to hygiene reasons? How long does it take you to shave? I've been toying with the idea of switching to a DE razor for a while. My stubble is really...

What do you dislike the most about your age group?

I have a theory: in the “Mad Men” days of advertising, the 50s & 60s, ads were squarely targeted at “the man of the house”, then later women were included too, but stuff was still sold primarily to adults in a grown up if slightly boring, sexist and patronising way. Over time advertising evolved...

That's like saying "My phone can take photos and HD video, I don't need a camera. If I wanted to carry around an oversized lump of plastic and electronics I'll ask to borrow your mum's v****tor" ;)

My car has a menu where you can choose the sound the indicators make! Half of the available sounds are so irritating that you want to crash the car when you hear them.

The "crap time piece" owners thread

Here’s my G-shock. I wear this day and night, to work, in the pool/gym, it’s been through the washing machine. Has a stopwatch, timer, backlight, battery lasts 10 years and is as accurate as any watch you can buy. All for £40. The one I had before (same mode, earlier version) survived being run...

The "crap time piece" owners thread

We already have threads for people's "posh" watches but let's appreciate the unglamorous, the unfashionable, the cheap and cheerful, the Toyota's of the watch world that just get on with it, that you don't really care about but when you stop and think about it are in many ways as impressive as...

    Ants in my pants

There are poisons which the ants take back to the nest as food which then kills the colony. These work better than traps. Though they may be a nuisance to us ants are a part of the garden ecosystem so I am not keen on poisoning them. Also poison obviously has to be carefully placed due to danger...

    WAMT....what annoyed me today!

Yeh I've also taken to shaving in the shower and I use Boots no.7 products which seem to be quite good, but my stubble's like wire. My last resort will be a DE razor but then I won't be able to use it in the shower, at least until I've mastered it.

    WAMT....what annoyed me today!

Due to impending baldness a beard doesn't suit me well, also premature greyness means I have to dye it which is as much a pita as shaving. I'm only 36 ffs!
