    Canon 17-55 2.8

    I rented one from lensesforhire last year for a holiday walk about lens. It's not that heavy to be honest. Build wise, it feels good although maybe not as good as an L lens. Performance wise it's impressive. I found it really sharp and a nice natural range to cover most things you'd encounter...

    Average weekly income

    Average income is supposed to be about £25k for the UK, so about £1500 per month. I imagine in terms of district that it varies between £20k to £30k as an average. I haven't looked but National Statistcs will break down what you need to know.

    Agreed. You'd have to adjust the aperture to settle on your target shutter speed. Problem with this is you can be finding yourself adjusting it all the time if the scene and the lighting change. Where as using Tv mode will do it for you.
